After the very successful past EUGMS (European Union Geriatric Medicine Society) Congresses, we hope to continue this series with a high quality program to celebrate the 10th EUGMS Congress.
We cordially invite you to join colleagues from all over the world to participate as a presenter or an attendee at
the 10th Congress of the EUGMS in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, from 17-19 September 2014.
The main theme of the congress will be: Geriatric Medicine Crossing Borders.
The scientific committee is finalizing a core curriculum which includes the interplay between cutting-edge science and everyday practice, between general practitioner and specialist, hospital and nursing home, between different countries and cultures on topics such as dementia, frailty, end-of-life care, nutrition, education, mobility disorders, rehabilitation, acute and long term care, pain, delirium etc.
The congress is being organized in cooperation with the annual Dutch "Geriatriedagen”, which is a platform for all workers in the field of geriatric medicine. Consequently, the submitted symposia as well as poster sessions and workshops provide ample opportunities to increase your knowledge and skills in geriatric medicine, in good collaboration with other branches of gerontology as well as nursing science. The program offers a great choice of topics for geriatricians and gerontologists, as well as specialized nurses and other paramedics.
The EUGMS Congress is a great opportunity to combine the earning of CME points and interaction with colleagues interested in geriatric medicine from all over the world. And of course an opportunity to visit the exciting city of Rotterdam, one of the main ports of the world, with all kinds of attractions including boat excursions, museums and a famous zoo.
The congress venue is in the heart of the city with many hotels within walking distance and plenty of shopping opportunities.
Reserve the date in your agenda! Updated information about the program can be found on www.eugms2014.org on a regular basis.
